Her second of four sons could not wear anything but cotton cloth diapers. Being a busy mom running her own daycare, she needed the convenience of a disposable. Hence, the first-of-its-kind cotton disposable diaper was born using the material best-known for delicate skin – natural cotton. 

Fancy Bottoms was first manufactured in 1995 by Cotton Bottom Diapers, Enterprises, LLC., a minority, female-owned company with offices in Charleston, Missouri. The primary goal of the company is to provide a safe alternative for babies with skin that is sensitive to conventional personal care products on the market. Unlike many of these preexisting products, Fancy Bottoms offers a more natural and healthier choice for babies with delicate skin.

As a disposable diaper, Fancy Bottoms is manufactured free of fragrances, dyes, and other harsh chemicals that could irritate a baby’s skin.
